SWAG welcomes talented lead-vocalist Tony Goff - Southeastern WI Arts Guild

Meet TONY GOFF - Lead vocalist (UPRISING), Frontman, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist.

TONY GOFF is a recognized frontman on the Metro Milwaukee music scene since the 1980's. Over the years Goff has fronted for such noteable groups as LIPS (1988-1991) Mother Conviction (Los Angeles 1991-1995), The Boogie Men (1996-2012) and 52nd Street - Playing the Music of Billy Joel (2011-Today).

During the Mother Conviction years, Goff & his band landed a development deal with A&M Records in Los Angeles and later had the same arrangement for a solo project entitled “Anthony.” For this, an EP was recorded with the likes of Greg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Maynard Ferguson, Joe Satriani, Ringo Starr) Robbie Wyckoff (Roger Waters, Rick Springfield, Jackson Browne) Solomon Burke, Jr. and members of his Wisconsin musical family: Songwriter and keyboardist Joe Hite, brother Joey Goff and bassist Mike Riojas (Corey Stevens).

Goff is a lead vocalist with impressive range, power and expression. He is a natural frontman, capturing the audiences attention with ease and style. Goff is currently rehearsing with his new pop/rock band UPRISING - playing music from the 2000's-today. Tony Goff, Peter Mac, Brian Dale, Ethan Bender & Luke Edgewood are UPRISING!

Meet Jodie Niles - Charter Member - Southeastern WI Arts Guild


The Southeastern WI Arts Guild welcomes our newest member - Writer, Artist and Life Coach, Jodie Niles!

Jodie Niles is a writer, artist and Certified Life Coach, whose goal is to empower and inspire others. A Milwaukee native and graduate of Marquette Unniversity, Jodie embraces her Midwestern values in her travels to other cities throughout the world. Her published works namely include magazine writing, book excerpts and blogs. She's also an aspiring novelist, with hopes to publish within the next three years. Whether she’s writing a human interest story, commenting and reflecting on the ups and downs of everyday life, or promoting self-awareness, Jodie’s honesty, humor and passion are always present.

Meet Steven White, Member of the Week!




Meet Steven White - the Southeastern WI Arts Guild "Member of the Week" (February 17, 2013 - February 24, 2013).

A classically trained musician, Steven J. White works with filmmakers, choreographers and theater groups composing and performing many genres of music. Whether scoring to picture, improvising on stage with dancers or playing in a jazz combo his work communicates the emotions of the moment.

Southeastern WI Arts Guild is pleased to announce or Artist of the Month for February, 2013 - Abstract Artist and Painter, Pamela Anderson!

Pamela Anderson
is known or her bold, colorful strokes and gestural movement, Pamela’s work is Abstract Expressionist with a modern dimension. She is currently an Artist in Residence at Plaid Tuba in the Historic Third Ward of Milwaukee. She was selected as one of the Pfister finalists for the Pfister Artist in Residence at the historic Pfister Hotel, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2011 and 2012.

In 2003 her passion to paint and create was reignited. She pursued painting in the Abstract
Expressionist Style. Pamela has studied with Terrence Coffman at Center Avenue Studio, Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. She has exhibited in numerous shows locally and nationally. Her work can be seen in corporate and private collections.

Her work is currently represented at Woodwalk Gallery, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin and at Pez Gordo Gallery, Jose del Cabo, Mexico. As an exhibiting artist and strong advocate of the arts, Pamela is active in local and state organizations including, Milwaukee Artist Resource Network (MARN) where she holds the Executive Position of President. Pamela is the founder of the 10 year old Westside Artwalk, a local art production which has grown into a two day premier event.

Meet Rochelle Melander - SWAG's Member of the Week!
Rochelle Melander is an author, speaker, and certified professional coach. She is the author of ten books, including the National Novel Writing Month guide--Write-A-Thon: Write Your Book in 26 Days (and Live to Tell About It). Rochelle teaches professionals how to write good books fast, use writing to transform their lives, navigate the publishing world, and get published! In addition, she is the founder of Dream Keepers, a writing workshop to help risk tweens and teens in Milwaukee write about their lives. Southeastern WI Arts Guild is very pleased to introduce our newest member - Sarah Horvat freelance illustrator and award-winning artist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Sarah embraces a Renaissance-man approach reflected among her diverse interests and deeply rooted passions. Her portfolio possesses a wide range of media filled with symbolism and visual textures from realistic to abstract, literal to allegorical, and figurative to organic. Art varies in size, media and presentation from works on paper and canvas to sculpture, installation and experimental.

Her illustrations have been featured in magazines, youth and adult books, and various media for the Northwestern Publishing House, WELS Synod publications, and arts organizations. Sarah's fine art has been in juried exhibitions at galleries, museums, colleges, and businesses. She has participated in virtual exhibitions, Twitter.com-based and gallery-hosted art exchanges, ArtWalkTV, as well as traveling exhibitions and art community projects including Art House Gallery and the Brooklyn Art Library, New York.

Sarah was awarded the 1993 WELS Art Guild Golden Palette Award, selected for the prestigious Lakefront Festival of Art college exhibit and chosen as the Fine Arts Representative groundbreaker for the Wisconsin Lutheran College Center for the Arts (1995). She is recognized in various "Who's Who" publications (c. 1988-2002) for America's high schools, colleges and art museums, as well as for art and illustration 2009-2010, and again recently nominated.
